Libby Beckmann

RDN, CDCES

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) providing nutrition counseling for patients looking to optimize their health by incorporating healthy eating practices into their lifestyle. I specialize in Medical Nutrition Therapy for diabetes and weight management, but like all of our dietitians, I see patients for a wide range of conditions, including high cholesterol and high blood pressure, gastrointestinal disorders, sports nutrition, as well as general wellness and meal planning. Born and raised in Idaho, I love all things outdoors. When I’m not working, I’m either up in the mountains with my family camping and hiking, or we’re at the track catching a race.

RDN

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in pediatric care and family wellness. My passion is helping children and parents build confidence with feeding and supporting healthy growth through practical, real-life nutrition strategies. I provide Medical Nutrition Therapy for children, as well as nutrition support for adults across all life stages, including high cholesterol, high blood pressure, gastrointestinal concerns, overall wellness, and meal planning. I am brand new to Idaho and really enjoying exploring the local food scene! When I’m off the clock, I’m usually in my happy places — testing new recipes in the kitchen, getting lost in a good book, hiking a new trail, or crocheting something cozy. My favorite moments are spent with my family, our golden retriever, and my sweet grandbaby.

Referrals Coordinator

As the Referrals Coordinator at Northern Nutrition, I work with patients to help them complete their intake paperwork and get scheduled with one of our dietitians. I also oversee many of the daily operations of the office. I enjoy using my previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in higher education to create a warm and welcoming environment for our patients. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Washington State University. When I’m not at work, I’m typically hanging out with my husband in the great outdoors, on a trail, or just appreciating this beautiful area that we live in. I also like to explore the arts, as well as trying out new restaurants in the North Idaho and Spokane area.
